SESSION EIGHT: At Home With Rose

It's only a month to go now until the launch of Radio23. All very exciting. Each time I go through the live webcast process I seem to do something wrong. I'm really hanging out for the day when it all goes off without a hitch. Perhaps this week will be the day! Of course, I'm not yet doing a live voice-over with my new mic. I don't have a room to broadcast from yet and there's always noise around, so it'll be cool soon when I have a dedicated spot in the house and I can blither away to my heart's content.

Here's my tracklist for Tuesday night. Links still to be added.

Rose, in 1983 my father was murdered, dismembered, boiled & flushed down the toilet by infamous British serial killer Dennis Nilsen. I am posting about this in my blog. Maybe you'd like to have a read?

If not, excuse me for disturbing you.

Best wishes, Shane.

Thanks Shane. I did have a read and it's a fascinating and tragic tale. But you seem to have your head together amazing well for someone who has been through so much. Thanks for sharing.

Rose, my head may be together but not enough to find your podcasts... where do I find them? I'm sure it's very simple... I'm still a bit of an online novice.

Thanks Shane.

Ho ho. Well, I'll point the way for you :)

Right hand column on my blog in the section entitled "Download" - try session 7. There's new ones going up every week. I was told the music I play spans from "magical at best to volatile at worst".

Rose,

Back again..

I found them but couldn't download... it's my system. I always in and out of internet cafés so I'll make sure I listen from there. Sorry...

Also, I've an art site you can have a look at - Paintings in oil, acrylic & aerosol.

Best wishes & I'll get back to once I've heard you're music.

Shane.

Hey Shane. Thanks for the link. I really enjoyed seeing your work. I like that kind of "bleed through" in the images. Like peering into another dimension or something. They're dark, but still very human. I love the dark muted colours.
